150th Anniversary Sponsorships
It's not every day that the state's flagship university and one of its most valuable assets turns 150. What began in 1856 as a small agricultural college has grown into one of nation's top public research universities. To celebrate all that's been accomplished and even greater things to come, we've planned an entire year's worth of exhibits, live performances, a forum and lecture series, a Fear the Turtle sculpture exhibition and auction, a campus-wide Charter Day celebration, and even a 150th Anniversary book and video.
This Anniversary is truly a milestone in this great university's history and every effort is being made to make sure every member of our large and loyal community (35,000 students, 12,000 faculty and staff, 165,000+ local alumni, and thousands of diehard Terps fans) is a part of it.
