Putting the Movement Back into Civil Rights with Alana Murray

Description:
Join a discussion on civil rights and education led by Alana Murray as part of the 2005-2006 first year book, Thurgood Marshall: American Revolutionary. Murray, an educator-activist, University of Maryland alum, and co-editor of "Putting the Movement Back into Civil Rights Teaching" is also the granddaughter of Donald G. Murray, the first African American to attend and graduate from the University of Maryland Law School, a case argued by Charles Houston and Thurgood Marshall.
